How can we ensure that the JSE has enough candidates in the pool?
Departments and agencies are encouraged to communicate with their employees to inform them of the existence of vacancies on the JSE. Employees should be encouraged to register on the JSE which will build the JSE membership.
Now the JSE Member Profile has been released, hiring managers can request targeted alerts to employees who have indicated their skills, experience and have opted-in to be targeted. When doing to the hiring manager and HR recruitment officer who sends the alert, are not able to see the individual details of the members - only the number of employees who will receive the alert.
This benefit is designed to encourage VPS employees to join the JSE as it could increase their chances of being invited to view and apply for a role that matches their preferences.
