I was unable to fill a job through the Jobs and Skills Exchange (JSE) and now have another similar job (but different vacancy) to fill. Do I have to advertise on the Jobs and Skills Exchange before advertising externally?

Yes. You must advertise every Victorian Public Service job longer than 6 months:

• on the JSE jobs board for at least 10 business days, including 2 weekends before you advertise externally (with some exceptions).
• before you advertise externally (with some exceptions).
