The Jobs and Skills Exchange Recruitment Policy does not apply:
- during restructures
- during the prioritisation of work, and
- during changes to the size or composition of a workforce.
In these cases, you:
- can restrict internal job matching and Expression of Interest merit processes to the affected employee group
- do not have to advertise jobs on the JSE.
If there are vacant positions that aren’t filled by affected employees, those jobs must be advertised on the JSE jobs board (clause 13).
