Redeployees who do not participate in the redeployment process are not eligible for 9 months’ JSE access after they leave their employment.
Clause 30 (a) of the JSE Recruitment Policy provides that redeployees are eligible to apply for jobs through the JSE for 9 months after they leave the VPS 'where redeployment has not been achieved by the end of the Redeployment Period.’
Clause 14.1 of the Redeployment Common Policy says that ‘the redeployment process ends when the surplus employee has been successfully redeployed to an ongoing position, or when the surplus employee is unable to be redeployed by the end of the redeployment period, whichever occurs first’.
Resigning prior to commencing the redeployment period means that they will not start the redeployment period, nor end it.
